Dangerous driving is broken down into several separate categories:
Around 50% of people that cause death through dangerous driving through excess speed end up in prison, and 97% of people who caused death through aggravated dangerous driving (committing traffic offences such as running from the police) end up in prison. The prison term is up to 14 years.
